Last night I spent the whole evening listening to some Proclaimers bangers ✨ (I'm Gonna Be, Letter From America, I'm On My Way etc). I got stuck on this one, and just had to keep clicking [Play] each time it finished. Original 80's/90's fan (I haven't really listened to any "new" music for a couple of decades), but I'm looking forward to making my way through their more recent work, and hoping to find some more belters! ✨

It's 2023 and I'm still laughing. One of the funniest videos ever.

My friend insists that the practical/romantic partner that has been found in this song is, in fact, dead. She insists that when the Proclaimers sing "Every time I think about you, I think I can't live without you. I tell you something I am nothing without you... I want to spend my life with you, Don't want to live all alone. I can't conceive of the years left to me, Without you in our home" they are lamenting the fact that this person has died and that they can't go on. Is my friend right or wrong?
